The Hardy Gallery, based in Ephraim, Wisconsin, provides a space for new and emerging artists. Additionally, hosted in the historic Anderson Warehouse, the gallery has become a beacon throughout Door County for sharing and supporting art in the community.
The Hardy Gallery partnered with Tweak Agency to launch a refreshed, user-friendly website designed to address key challenges and better serve its community. The new site features an interactive art map that highlights participating galleries and sponsors, complete with links to addresses for easy navigation. To strengthen community ties, volunteer and donor pages were restructured. A section for sponsor promotion was enhanced to provide more visibility for advertisers, as the gallery in its 62-year lifetime is supported by the community.
The redesign prioritized accessibility, incorporating bold text and artist imagery together with straightforward navigation to cater to all audiences, regardless of whether the site is accessed using a tablet, computer, or smartphone. A dynamic homepage now provides frequent updates on exhibits and events, ensuring visitors can easily access the latest information to plan their visits or participation. Dedicated pages for artist members and advertisers showcase the vibrant local arts scene, reinforcing the gallery’s role as a unique Door County community hub and referral service for the arts.
The result is a modern, accessible, visually engaging platform that pays tribute to the Hardy Gallery’s rich history with the needs of today’s digital audience.
